History of Round Rock
Round Rock was formed in 1851 on the banks of Brushy Creek near a large, round rock, that was used as a low water crossing for wagons, cattle, and horses. Today the round rock is still there and you can see it when you drive over the bridge located on Chisholm Trail Road.
